The Brezel OS vision is a company workplace that brings business software, communication and AI into one shared framework, on a lightweight Linux system with applications matched to each role.
Future vision · not available as a current feature · no release or package commitment

From a browser product to the workplace.
Brezel is currently offered as a business platform. Brezel OS extends that idea to the environment where employees work each day: after sign-in, the appropriate workspaces, colleagues and assistants are available.
This vision is not an operating system installation available today. Design, implementation and supported workflows still need development and practical validation.

02 /
A workplace matched to responsibility.
Applications and access are intended to be centrally assigned by role. Sales, administration and technical teams need different tools. The responsibilities governing business data should also organise the workplace.
Changing roles involves more than showing a different menu: access, applications and assigned work need deliberate adjustment. Connecting these is part of the target design.
03 /
Linux and central operations.
Plans call for a lightweight Linux desktop backed by central services. The individual workplace can stay focused while business data and AI tasks are handled within the governed system.
Reusing older hardware is an objective, not a universal compatibility guarantee. Specialist software, peripherals and existing IT need individual assessment. Replacing every current operating system or application is not promised.

The Brezel Box concept.
The OS Story describes a central Brezel Box as a potential home for shared ERP records, agent execution and scoped knowledge. Lightweight workplace devices would use these services.
This is an architectural target, not an additional orderable hardware product with a fixed model or guaranteed specifications. Today’s on-premise offer is described separately, with agreed hardware and support on request.

Direction and today’s service.
Communication, agents using telephony and eventually local AI are intended to fit this design. External calls may still require providers and network connections. A local workplace is not automatically offline-capable.
Brezel OS is a future vision. Release dates, supported devices, licensing and included upgrades have not been committed. For getting started today, Brezel Cloud and on premise are the relevant offerings.
