Privacy
Information about the provider, use and responsibilities.
1. Scope and controller
This notice describes the technical implementation of this static information website. The Brezel Console, product and external websites are separate services with their own privacy notices. The controller is Christian Kiewaldt & Benjamin Braun GbR, Betriebsweg 4, 51645 Gummersbach, Germany. Telephone: +49 2261 20 40 42 0. Email: info@kiwis-and-brownies.de. Represented by Christian Kiewaldt and Benjamin Braun.
2. Website delivery and hosting
Requests transmit connection data to the website host, particularly IP address, time, requested address, browser information and potentially the referring page. Processing serves website delivery and security. Article 6(1)(f) GDPR may provide the basis, with a legitimate interest in a functioning and secure website. The actual host, logging, retention periods and recipients must be specified against the real deployment before publication.
3. No embedded advertising services
This website does not embed advertising trackers, analytics, external fonts, maps, videos or social media. Fonts come from your system, while images and scripts are loaded from this website. No visitor profile is created. Prepared measurement attributes do not transmit data or measure outcomes.
4. Language preference on your device
Only an explicit click on Deutsch or English stores your choice under “brezel-language” in browser localStorage. It contains only “de” or “en”, with no identifier or contact data. It is not sent to analytics and remains until website data is cleared. Storage serves solely the language function you requested; Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR are the intended bases. You can remove it in browser settings. Without a saved choice, neutral entry pages evaluate browser languages locally. Direct language links remain available.
5. Preparing an enquiry locally
The enquiry form prepares text solely in your browser. It does not send your entries to a server or store them in localStorage. Clicking “Copy text” places the prepared text on your local clipboard at your request; other applications may access it depending on your system settings. Contact occurs only when you use the official contact channel yourself. That service’s privacy notice then applies.
6. Contact and business communication
If you send a message through an actual contact channel, the data you provide is needed to respond and communicate. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to contractual enquiries; Article 6(1)(f) may apply to other business correspondence. Recipients, deletion periods and statutory retention obligations must reflect the communication systems actually used. Preparing text locally does not send a message.
7. External links and the Brezel Console
Opening an external link establishes a connection to its destination, where connection data may be processed. Registration, booking and AI use take place in the console or product and are covered by separate notices. This information website does not collect payment details or send company documents to a language model.
8. Your rights
Subject to statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Consent may be withdrawn with future effect. You may also complain to a competent supervisory authority. Contact the controller identified in the legal notice to exercise your rights.
9. Security and development
This website does not make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. Connections needed for web hosting are separate from the AI product. If hosting changes or additional services are introduced, this notice must be updated before their use.
